TWIGGY E’ MORTA – PURPOSES OF LIGHTNESS

First video taken from “The words are an involuntary muscle”, the first album of “Twiggy È Morta!” (original title: “Propositi di leggerezza“)
The video is built around the desecration of the most famous paintings of René Magritte. Through the surrealism evoked by the paintings, it is traced the inner discomfort of the protagonist, a bulimic girl, and her compelling desire to relieve herself of the burden of living, up to self-destruction, the pure alienation. She becomes a muse in a completely evanescent dream settings, where she goes to mingle among the livid colors of Magritte’s surrealism and  the perfect and still objects, to highlight the inevitability of abstraction.
