LOveDON

The day I asked Sara out for the first time, she had just accepted a job offer in London. We couldn’t know that in a very short time a great love would have been born between us, leading us to act as “love commuters” between Rome and London.
This video was born in those days waiting for Sara to come out from the office. While walking alone through the less central London’s areas, I tried to film the daily life of a constantly evolving and moving city. In addition to some distinctive districts, between palaces and parks, I got to visit the National Gallery, the Winter Wonderland 2016 and I went to a concert of Sad Lovers And Giants. I also had the opportunity to dance in one of the most amazing music venues I’ve ever seen, which like all the amazing things was short-lived: the “Passing Clouds” in Dalston, closed by the authorities at the end of summer 2016.
They were unforgettable but also difficult moments for our young love put under test after less than a month. Anyway, we came out strong and united, and that’s why I decided to create this short video in memory of those so important days for us. This is for you, Sara.
